Understanding Myosin motors kinetics is necessary for understanding their function, the design of single molecule experiments, and the design of motor-based devices.

Stopped flow kinetic measurements of one-headed myosin Ic motor bound to actin filament were carried out to determine the ATP-binding rate and the motor’s affinity to ADP.
