Molecular Dimensions:

  1. Di-thiol derivatized conjugated porphyrin oligomers (n = 1~5) were synthesized

  2. New technology pioneered by Johnson enables the controlled and reproducible nanogap spacings using electromigration at ambient conditions

  3. Current enhancement has been observed after application of molecules (n = 3) to the nanogaps

  4. Optimization of molecular junction formation and temperature-dependent I-V measurements are in progress
